About AI Rounds

AI Rounds started with a deep desire to teach healthcare providers how to use technology safely to optimize the way their practices run — and with one clinician's very personal reason for caring.

The story

Dr. Sydney Green, ND is a registered naturopathic doctor in Victoria, British Columbia, running a procedural practice — ultrasound-guided injections, IV therapy, and perimenopause and menopause care. She pursued medicine after earning a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Victoria, so the business side of running a practice was never foreign territory — it just was never supposed to consume the hours it did. A few years in, she was living the version of practice ownership nobody puts on the brochure: full clinic days followed by endless charting and patient emails, then the marketing, the website, the writing, and the admin at night. The hours kept stretching, and burnout had stopped being an abstraction — it was approaching.

Then she implemented her first AI tool in the practice, and it changed everything about how the non-clinical work got done. Since that day she has been curious, motivated, and — honestly — enthralled, learning everything she can about what these tools do well, where they fail, and exactly where the privacy lines sit. Her practice now runs on the workflows taught here: the content engine, the website, the email list, the back office. This site does too.

The mission

Her mission is to hand other healthcare providers the same tools — to make it easy to implement the right AI in the right places, so their systems run lighter, their working hours come back down, burnout loses its head start, and more of their time goes to what they love: the clinical work that called them here, and the life outside it that refills their cup.

What AI Rounds teaches

How to put AI to work in the operations of a practice — patient education, marketing and visibility, admin, and the systems around care — for medical, naturopathic and integrative providers. Not clinical decisions, and never patient data in the wrong place. Rounds are where clinicians teach and learn from cases; these are rounds for the business side of practice.

What this site is — and isn't

Everything here is education about the safe, practical use of AI in practice operations. It is not medical advice, and it is not legal or regulatory advice — AI Rounds teaches frameworks and points to the real authorities: your college or licensing board, your privacy officer, and the privacy law that applies to you. Where a workflow touches a judgment call, the guide says so and tells you who to verify with.

Dr. Syd's clinical practice is separate from this site: she provides clinical care only to patients in British Columbia, and nothing here creates a clinician–patient relationship. Her practice site is naturalwellnesswithsyd.com.

The Safe Setup Checklist is the first ten minutes — what to change before you type a single word into an AI tool. Then the guide library takes it one installable workflow at a time.
